Let us tell you more about our university. Our Kalashnikov Tech was founded in 1952 and was named after Mikhail Kalashnikov, a legendary designer of small arms and Honorary Professor of ISTU. More than 12,000 students, including 350 international, study at 3 faculties and 7 institutes of the university. The university accepts students in engineering, information technologies, natural sciences, economics and humanities for bachelor degree — in 39 programs, for master degree — in 31 programs, for specialist diploma programs — in 5 specialties, and for PhD degree — in 10 programs.

Foreign students can study bachelor`s degree in English in such programs as «Software engineering», «Mechatronics and Robotics», «Civil engineering» and «Oil and Gas engineering». They can also choose a program to study in Russian. To study in Russian, foreign students should complete a foundation course of the Russian language which takes one year.

Kalashnikov Tech is located in a wonderful region of Russia with hot summers and mild winters. Our university is located in the city of Izhevsk, in the capital of Udmurt Republic.
